I think I'm a closet misfit, or a shadow misfit--I haven't made very many waves since I was in my early 20s. Is that OK? Can I still join? I don't like Martha Stewart at all! I say"fuck" in front of my grandchildren sometimes, even when their parents are there. I only dust the furniture when something leaves a mark so you can see that the dull finish isn't natural. The summer movie I'm most looking forward to is "Tomb Raiders," and I'm going to get my 18 year old grandson to teach me how to play it on the computer. My idea of a really good vacation is to go to Midway Atoll and count the nesting albatross in the rain. My stepmother used to threaten to send me to a girls' reformatory school and I was always disappointed that she didn't.
